Hanzi Counter app for iPhone and iPad

This simple app takes a body of text and tells you how many unique characters it has. You can also select to see how many occurrences each character has.

Designed for simplified and traditional Chinese, but will work for all writing systems, however the count will naturally be limited to the size of the alphabet.

Built in dictionary and character highlighting (iPad version only).

You can filter out characters that you already know from your results. Hanzi Counter will then only give you new characters to learn!

HSK lists for levels 1-6 come built in to be used with the filters or as a reference!

E-Mail your results in a CSV file for use in most spreadsheet programs!
